Cuttack, April 19: Sunrise Cricket Club (SCC) beat Jagatpur Athletic Association (JAA) by 37 runs to enter the final of the PV Murthy Inter-Club cricket tournament at the Bose Ground here Sunday.
SCC scored 135 all out after being put into bat with Ranjan Rout (25, 21b, 4×4) and Sunil Behera (21, 16b, 2×6) batting well. Saurav Kanojia (3/18) and Rajesh Das (2/10) bowled well for JAA. However, their efforts went in vain as JAA were bundled out for 98 in 19.4 overs against some fine bowling by Prasant Senapati (5/13).
