Bhubaneswar: Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Wednesday announced the schedule of theory examinations of Plus II courses beginning March 6, 2017.
The announcement was made public after CHSE examination committee met under the chairmanship of chairman Basudev Chhatoi here.
“The examinations for theory papers of Plus II Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational education will begin March 6 and conclude March 28. The practical examinations will be conducted between January 18 and 25. The examinations will be of three-hour duration and commence at 10 am,” Chhatoi said.
Four lakh regular and ex-regular students would take Plus II examinations at various centres across the state, he said, adding, “We have advised the college principals to submit reports about existing infrastructure which they have to conduct the exams. Principals of the concerned centres will be held responsible in case of a misconduct.”
On completion of the registration of ex-regular students, the filled-in forms of regular students would be despatched from November 16, the chairman said.
According to sources, regular Plus II second year students can fill up their application forms between November 16 and 24 (without fine) and deposit fees from November 17 to 25. Students, who fail to fill up forms within the deadline, can do so between November 28 and 30 and deposit fees with a fine of `50 from November 29 to December 1, the sources said.
In a bid to give an opportunity to the students, the council has given two more days’ time to fill up forms, for which the students have to pay a late fine of `350 (December 3 and 4).
