Odapada: A report about the rape of a Class-VII girl studying in a private school by the school bus driver in Motanga police station area in Dhenkanal district has sent chatters abuzz here Thursday.
The alleged incident occurred in a school room when the students were busy decorating a pandal for Ganesh Puja Wednesday evening.
A few others, however, claimed that the girl was caught in a compromising position with the driver. This was later admitted by a member of the school management committee. However, no complaint was filed with the police.
When contacted, the Motanga police station IIC claimed he is yet to receive any complaint but assured to take stringent action once a complaint is lodged in this regard.
