Bhubaneswar: All educational institutions in Bhubaneswar will remain closed tomorrow for the opening ceremony of the Hockey Men’s World Cup, a release of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.
This apart, educational institutions across the state will be closed tomorrow after 1.30 PM. Similarly, all government offices in the state will remain closed tomorrow after 1.30 PM.
In view of the Hockey World Cup Celebrations event scheduled to be held at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack November 28, all educational institutions and government offices in Cuttack will be closed on the day after 1.30 PM, the release added.
The opening ceremony of the sporting event will be held tomorrow at the Kalinga Athletics Stadium here. Music Maestro A.R. Rahman, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Madhuri Dixit are slated to perform at the programme.
