Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department released Monday the second merit list of Plus-II courses for admission in different institutions.
In the Arts stream BJB Higher Secondary School tops the list with 70% cut-off marks. It is followed by Ravenshaw Junior College (68.4%), Sailabala Women’s College Cuttack (67.17%) and Samanta Chandrasekhar College, Puri (64.83%).
In the Science stream Ravenshaw Junior College in Cuttack takes the cake with 86.33 per cent cut-off marks followed by BJB College here with 86 per cent marks. Other colleges that have the highest cut-off marks for Plus II Science streams are Berhampur (84.83%), Upendranath Higher Secondary School at Soro (84%) and College of Basic Science and Humanities here Bhubaneswar (81.83%).
In the Commerce stream, Byasanagar Higher Secondary School tops the merit list with 79.67 per cent cut-off marks by Ravenshaw Junior College 73.33%.
Earlier, the first selection merit list of Plus-II courses for the academic year 2020-21 had been published September 28. For admission into Arts, Science and Commerce stream Ravenshaw Junior College had topped the cut-off list.
