Bhubaneswar, Jan 8: Sersa, Ranchi beat ECoRSA, Vizag by 21 runs in the AIPMCT cricket tournament here Thursday. Opting to bat first, Sersa scored a challenging total of 172 runs for the loss of seven wickets with SR Sinha (74, 66b) and A Sikriwal (50, 30b) scoring brisk half centuries. NJJSR Prasad (3/30) bowled well to put the opposition batters in check.
In reply, ECoRSA could not tackle the pressure while chasing and were bundled out for 151 in 23.4 overs. K Satish (39, 44b) and RP Anil (32, 15b) lead ECoRSA’s fight back, but chocked under pressure at crucial moments of the game. Kuldeep Sharma (4/23) was the wrecker in chief.
