Bhubaneswar, July 13: While filming abroad is a regular affair in the Hindi film industry, it is rare for Oriya films. The upcoming Oriya film ‘Bye Bye Dubai’ is one of those rare films. The cast of the romantic film is travelling to Dubai where song sequences are to be canned. Lead actors Archita Sahu and Buddhaditya left for Dubai Tuesday and will be shooting for the song ‘Ajana Aei Sahara’. Sabyasachi will join them July 15. The film is being directed by Basanta Sahoo and it is being produced by Akshaya Parija.

Archita said she had positive expectations of the film. “The lyrics of the song we are shooting are soothing and with it being shot against the backdrop of Dubai, I am sure it would be a hit among fans of Oriya music.”

Buddhaditya, in turn, said: “The catchy and most romantic number of the film will be shot in the city that is synonymous with luxury, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife. After all, the look and feel of the song would be international after it is shot in Dubai. The producer has left no stone unturned to provide quality visuals to the audience.”

Besides the lead cast, the movie crew travelling to Dubai comprises cameramen Sashi Kumar and Sai Kant, choreographer Swarnalatha, make-up artiste Satya Patra and costume designer Koti. The music rights for the film have been acquired by Amara Muzik, and music has been composed by Bikash Das.
