Rourkela, Jan 14: Sports Hostel, Cuttack outplayed SAIL, Ranchi 2-0 in the inaugural match of the 11th All India Biju Patnaik football tournament at the Ispat Ground here Wednesday. Sports Hostel were clearly the dominant side and scored once in each half.
Sujit Tirkey drew first blood in the 41st minute to establish a one-goal lead for Sports Hostel. After the change of ends, they continued to dominate and added to the tally through Sunil Sardar in the 79th minute.
