Bhubaneswar, May 4: The state government will adopt Gujarat’s model of skill education development in the state.
A delegation of higher education department officials comprising vocational education director Roshanara Begum and deputy director PK Tripathy will embark on a four-day visit of Gujarat from May 5 to get first-hand experience in the working of skill training centres, sources said.
The team will also study the functioning of state higher education council formed under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and the Acts and statutes of universities.
After the visit, the team will share its views on the best practices adopted by Gujarat with the state government. Accordingly, some of the best practices may be adopted in the state, sources said.
