Keonjhar: Commissioner-cum-secretary of ST and SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare, Ranjana Chopra, reviewed the work of the department in Keonjhar during her two-day visit. She visited various projects build under ITDA, Keonjhar. Friday, she visited plantation at Barbil under Saharapada block and interacted with SHGs about availability of income-generating assistance. Saturday, Chopra visited milk pasturisation centre at Silisuan and held a review on production and sales of milk products and dairy. Then she went to Deobandh under Ghatagaon block where she talked with officials about non-timber forest produce centre. Chopra was accompanied by deputy secretary Pranati Patra, Collector Ashish Thakre and PA (ITDA) Narayan Murmu and district welfare officer Pradyumna Das.
