Bhubaneswar: In a first of its kinds, the Odisha government would extend a helping hand to the beneficiaries of National Social Security Scheme (NSSS) and the Madhu Babu Pensioners in the shape of ‘Summer Aid Umbrella’.
As per a press release from the government’s social security and empowerment of persons with disabilities department, the beneficiaries would get Rs 100 extra along with their monthly allowances, to buy umbrella. The beneficiaries include senior citizens, widows, physically-challenged persons, and the Madhu Babu pensioners.
The extra amount for purchase of umbrella will be providedMay 15, the auspicious occasion of the Jana Sena Diwas.
