Talcher gets Jio 5G service

Talcher: Reliance Jio launched its True 5G service in Talcher town of Odisha Tuesday.

Apart from Talcher, Jio today launched 5G services in nine cities in India namely Hindupur, Madanapalle, Proddatur (Andhra Pradesh), Raigarh (Chhattisgarh), Patiala (Punjab), Alwar (Rajasthan), Mancherial (Telangana), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Roorkee (Uttarakhand).

With inclusion of Talcher, 13 cities in Odisha including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Berhampur, Sambalpur, Balasore, Baripada, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Puri, Balangir and Nalconagar-Angul are now on Jio 5G network.

Till date, Jio 5G service has gone live in 236 cities across India, a company official said.
