Bhubaneswar, March 21: TCS entered the semifinals of the E League cricket tournament, beating Orissa Veterans by 45 runs in Bhubaneswar, Saturday.
TCS opted to bat first and notched-up a challenging score of 157 for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Subhrajeet Behera (30), Sarthak Das Mohapatra (25) and Pinaki Mohanty (24) all chipped in with useful contributions. CS Kanungo (3/16) bowled well for the Veterans. In reply, the Veterans could manage only 112. Pinaki Mohanty (2/23) shone with the ball for TCS.
