Bhubaneswar: The Infocity police arrested a 21-yearold youth working as a delivery boy at a private shipment company for allegedly stealing electronic gadgets, including an iPhone 15 and earbuds, worth around Rs 2 lakh.
The accused has been identified as Paresh Kumar Kar of Cuttack, who was employed as a delivery agent with the company.
According to reports, another employee of the company, identified as Raja Swain (28), caught Paresh red-handed Monday while he was attempting to steal electronic items from the company’s stock.

Swain also alleged that Paresh had been involved in manipulating shipments. Upon being informed, Infocity police reached the spot, and an FIR was lodged against Paresh.
During interrogation, he confessed to the crime.
Police recovered a tampered box containing a new iPhone 15 and two boxes of OnePlus Nord Buds from his possession.
The seized items were later handed over to the company after verification.
