Peshawar: Three security personnel were injured Saturday after unidentified gunmen opened fire at a police vehicle in northwest Pakistan, police said.
The banned terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the targeted attack in the Tank district of the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The attackers ambushed the police vehicle on the Dera Ismail Khan Road near the Chakan area, police said, adding that the vehicle overturned following the firing, leaving three police personnel injured.
