Balasore: Various trade unions have called for a dawn-to-dusk Balasore Bandh February 10 over ‘police incompetency’ and deteriorating law and order situation in the district.
There has been an increase in anti-social activities in the district, impacting the lives of people in the district. There also has been a rise in road accidents due to reckless driving of inebriated people.
In protest against the ‘worsening’ law and order situation, various organisations including Train Union Association Coordination Committee, All India Trade Union Congress, Centre of Indian Trade Union, Indian National Trade Union Congress, National Federation of Indian Trade Union and the Hind Majdur Sabha have called the bandh.
