Cuttack: At least 20 students of master of business administration (MBA) course at Ravenshaw University here reportedly took admission without submitting their college leaving certificates (CLCs) in violation of university guidelines.
The laxity in the admission process came to light recently following which a three-member team of the varsity has initiated a probe into the matter.
Sources said the irregularities were carried out in 2016-17 academic year. A preliminary probe found that some employee of the self-financing course, as MBA comes under the self-financing course, were behind said irregularities. All other departments which function under the self-financing course also came under the scanner following the irregularities.
The employees under whose patronage the irregularities were committed have been identified and stringent action would be taken against them, the varsity sources said.
