Bhanjanagar: Tension prevailed high near Bhanjanagar Square here in Ganjam district after two youths were injured following a group clash near the local fire station Thursday night.
According to sources, a group of youths attacked a youth following which he sustained grievous injuries and was admitted to Bhanjanagar sub-divisional hospital. In retaliation, the associates of the injured youth attacked the rival group Friday. A youth of the opponent group also sustained injuries in the retaliatory attack.
He was also admitted to the Bhanjanagar hospital.
It was learnt that no complaint in connection with the incident was lodged with the police till filing of this report.
