Junagarh: A body of an unidentified youth was found under the Bhati Chhak culvert at Amathola village near here in Kalahandi district Monday morning.
Locals, who spotted the body at around 6.30 am, informed the police. The deceased’s head bore an injury, reports said, adding a cement bag was also found near the body.
Locals said a truck was parked at the spot Sunday night for some time.
The villagers suspected that the youth might have been murdered somewhere else and the body could have been dumped under the culvert.
However, tension prevailed in the area for some time due to the delay in the arrival of police.
