Jharsuguda: Two new passenger-friendly initiatives have been launched at the Veer Surendra Sai Airport to improve the air travel experience.
Union Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu Saturday inaugurated a dedicated pick-up and drop-off lane and free high-speed Wi-Fi services via virtual mode from Rajkot airport.
The newly introduced lane is designed to streamline vehicle movement on the airport premises and enhance passenger safety.
Officials said the facility will help ensure smoother access and reduce congestion for travellers.
In addition, passengers will now have access to free high-speed Wi-Fi, enabling them to stay connected digitally while at the airport.
Airport Director Upendra Nath Dhaundia said the initiatives aim to strengthen infrastructure and provide a more comfortable and efficient travel experience to flyers.
He added that such steps will further improve service standards at the airport.
