At the start of the video, the German Shepherd, named ‘Ragnar,’ is seen lying on the floor under the TV. His owner, Shiv Shankar, played various songs, but the dog showed no reaction. First, he played Lutt Putt Gaya from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki, followed by Kailash Kher’s devotional track Bam Lahari from Shor in the City. Yet, Ragnar remained indifferent, continuing to lie on the floor, seemingly uninterested.

However, the moment Hanuman Chalisa started playing, Ragnar’s entire demeanor changed. He immediately raised his head and began trying to match the tune. The once-relaxed dog suddenly started “singing” along, as if deeply moved by the devotional song. He quickly sat up and attentively tried to synchronize with the melody of Hanuman Chalisa.
This heartwarming video was shared on the Instagram account Thebanjaaraboy, and it has already garnered 11.4 million (1.14 crore) views. Users flooded the comments with amusing remarks—some calling him a Hanuman Bhakt dog, while others expressed joy, saying, “My heart is full after seeing this dog’s devotion!” Many are also sharing the video and tagging their friends.
