Bhubaneswar: A woman’s body was found from a parked car at Mahaveer Chhak near Hanuman temple of Sriram Nagar under Lingaraj Police Station area here Monday morning.
The incident came to fore after some locals spotted the car parked near the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack National Highway.
On being informed, the Lingaraj police along with a scientific team reached the spot and started an investigation.
The woman’s body was found lying on the front seat of the Tata Safari car.
A family photograph and a land record were found near her body.
Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahoo said, “It looks like the car was involved in a major accident as the front part of the vehicle has been completely damaged.”
