Youth held with brown sugar

Khurda: A 22-year-old youth was arrested after 128 grams of brown sugar was seized from him here Friday, a senior Excise department official said. Sunil Dalai, a resident of Swapneswar Slum in Samantarapur area here, was taken into custody after he was caught peddling the contraband worth around Rs 12.80 lakh. “Dalai has been sent to judicial custody after his bail plea was turned down by a local court here in the afternoon, the official added.
