Bhubaneswar: A 35-year-old youth died Thursday evening in a mishap near the over-bridge at Palasuni under Mancheswar police station limits here. The youth is yet to be identified.
The motorcycle (OD 02 P 8822) which the youth was riding has been registered in the name of Prabeer Dehury. The mishap occurred when a truck (WB 41 AH 0058) proceeding towards Cuttack hit the biker from behind. Consequently, the youth fell off his vehicle and was run over by the 10-wheeler truck. He died on the spot. Locals chased the vehicle and detained the truck driver and helper.
