Anandapur: In shocking incident, a youth stabbed his grandfather to death as the latter refused to pay money for liquor at Kolimati under Ghasipura police limits in Keonjhar district Saturday. The deceased was identified as 75-year-old Khetrabasi Rana.
His grandson Dushmant Rana (35) demanded money from him to consume liquor. As Khetrabasi turned him away, Dushmant attacked the former with a knife and ran away as locals raised an alarm.
Police seized the body and detained the accused at Dhakotha.
