Cuttack, August 4: Artha Tatwa chief Pradip Sethi held some warders of Jharpada jail responsible for his suicide attempt at the jail recently.
Sethi, who was brought to SCB Medical College and Hospital here Wednesday evening, is now undergoing treatment at the de-addiction centre of the hospital.
During counselling, Sethi made some crucial revelations about the jail before the doctors. Sethi said some warders at the jail were misbehaving with him and harassing him while serving food. He had a commotion with the warders over the issue and subsequently cut his wrist and hit his head against the iron rod of the jail apparently to commit suicide.
On the other hand, the doctors at the hospital said Sethi is suffering from diabetes, blood pressure and skin diseases. He is also suffering from sleep disorder and is under severe mental stress. Sethi’s wife is attending to him at the hospital as per the court’s order.
