Singer Amrita Bharati Panda never plans things beforehand for Sundays. “On Sundays, I do try to catch up with my family, go for window shopping or watching movies. I actually do not chalk out a particular plan for a Sunday as such, because then it becomes like other days when everything is pre-planned. In a way, I crave for spontaneity and like to take decisions on the spur of the moment,” the singer says with an ear-to-ear smile.
Riyaz must
Amrita makes it a point to do ‘riyaz’ on a Sunday. She can’t remember a single Sunday she has not done ‘riyaz’. “My Sunday starts with ‘riyaz’ which I never give a miss,” the singer says.
With hubby
On Sundays, Amrita loves to be with her hubby. “On Sundays, my hubby prepares breakfast for me and it really makes me happy. I am a big movie buff. So we usually put on our sneakers and go for a movie. Sometimes, we go on a long drive,” Amrita says.
Cooking
Amrita cooks a few of her hubby’s favorite dishes on holidays. “I try my hand at cooking chicken biriyani, mutton kassa, chilly panner, pizza and fried rice for my sweet and caring soulmate,” she says.
FB maniac
Without Facebooking with fans, Sundays seem boring for the melody queen. “I try to spend a lot of time on my Facebook Fan page, as it is the only medium to connect with my fans, and it is very important for an artiste to connect with fans and give them some extra time,” she says.
‘Me’ time
The singer, whose latest album ‘Papa ki Pari’ is doing good on Youtube, loves to spend a lot of time with herself. “I spend a lot of time with myself, thinking about what all I did in the last week and what all I have to do next week, and also what needs to be improved,” she says.
