Bhubaneswar, May 22: The registration process for admission to Plus II courses for 2016-17 academic session begins Monday.
According to a May 18 notification issued by the education department, students can seek admission to Plus II Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational courses through online and offline mode by filling up the Common Application Form (CAF).
The online application format would be available on the website www.dheodisha.gov.in
However, candidates who want to apply offline have to collect CAF available at the nearest student academic management system (SAMS) resource centres.
The last date for applying and submitting online mode of applications is June 6 and June 7 respectively.
Similarly, the deadline for submission of offline/manual CAF at any of 620 SAMS resource centres along with supporting documents and fees is June 7. The government has set June 9 as the deadline for online CAF validation and digitisation of offline application forms in e-Space by the SAMS resource centres.
The first phase merit list would be announced June 13 while the admissions would take place from June 16 to June 21, the notification said.
Similarly, the second phase of selection list will be notified June 25, for which, admission process will be carried out between June 27 and June 29. The third phase merit list will be published July 4 and admission of the selected students July 8 and 9.
The government has decided to commence classes for Plus II first year students July 14. The second phase admission would start 10 days after the notification of instant and supplementary examination results, it added.
