1 dies in mishap, another critical

Begunia: A youth died while another sustained critical injuries in a road accident on Khurda-Bolangir National Highway 57 Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Jaga Deuri (25), a resident of Kadaba Adivasi Sahi in Begunia police limits. Police said Jaga was on his way home from Begunia on his bike at 9.30am when he collided head-on with the bike of Sushant Nayak (21) of Rajsunakhola. Some locals called 108 Ambulance and shifted them to the district headquarters hospital. However, Jaga was pronounced dead by the doctors. The police handed over the body of the deceased to his family members after post-mortem. The police registered a case and seized the motorcycles.
