Balimela: Orkel police in Malkangiri district seized 108 kg of ganja and arrested seven persons for allegedly carrying the contrabands on Chintakonda-Balilema road here Sunday night.
According to sources, a team of the police was deployed on the road for vehicle search. Meanwhile the police stopped three speeding cars and found the contrabands worth around Rs 15 lakhs being carried in the cars, during search.
Following which the police arrested the seven persons and forwarded to court Monday.
