Phulbani: Two persons died and three others sustained critical injuries in a road accident at Surusudi village near K. Nuagaon in Kandhamal district Saturday evening.
Jitendra Sahu of Sainpada and Siddharth Das from Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district died in the accident.
Two injured persons are Sukla Sahu of Giningia village and Bibhutibhusan Das from Bhawanipatna, while one person’s identity is not yet known.
According to reports, the accident happened when two motorcycles from opposite direction collided head-on near Surusudi village.
The injured persons were admitted to the district headquarters hospital.
