Gop: Two cows were charred to death and five rooms gutted when a fire broke out at Sankhua village of Badatara area near Gopa in Puri district Monday.
Seven calves were also injured in the fire.
According to reports, properties worth lakhs of rupees and other valuables have been completely reduced to ashes.
Locals who spotted smoke billowing out of one of the rooms informed the fire personnel following which a fire tender rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
