Bhubaneswar: About six persons were injured after a bus rammed into a tree near Kalpana square under Badagada Police Station Tuesday. The bus was coming from Puri to Bhubaneswar when it lost control and hit a tree.
There was chaos among the passengers and the people near the spot immediately rushed to the spot and retrieved the injured. All the injured have been admitted to Capital hospital here for treatment.
Sources said the bus carrying around 60 passengers lost control due to break failure and hit the tree near the State Museum.
Police sources said the driver of the bus fled the spot after the accident fearing public ire.
