Chinmaya Maharana, a student of the Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir, Jajpur was a privileged winner. “I am really thankful to this body for encouraging me with this award. This award will help me toil hard in my higher studies. But one thing I must say that my teachers were the reason behind my scoring well in the exams. Among the award winning students, five came from other parts of the state. They, along with their parents and teachers, arrived in the city Sunday to be a part of this ceremony. Biswa Ranjan Jena who came all the way from Nayagarh got emotional while receiving the prize. “I had never thought that I can reach this stage. My mother always says work hard for better future. I obeyed it, as a result I scored well in my exams,” said Jena.
Parents and teachers appreciated the Parishad for organising the ceremony. “Students will surely get the required inspiration from this awards function. We came here all the way from Jajpur so that our students get encouraged after being felicitated. My students toiled hard in order to perform well in their exams. I congratulate them,” said Anil Ray, a teacher.
The award ceremony was organised by the outfit on the occasion of the 94th birth anniversary of the freedom fighter Bhabani Charan Patnaik. “We planned to felicitate the students on the eve of his birthday.
