Bhubaneswar: A number of events were organised on the occasion of 3rd anniversary of 22Bikes Friday in the capital city. Like in previous years, a blood donation camp was organised in collaboration with Parivartan Foundation and Indian Red Cross Society at 22Bikes, Sahid Nagar. The organisers collected more than 75 units of blood on the occasion.
22 Bikes also launched ‘Donate a Book’, signature campaign for blood donation and a traffic awareness campaign on the occasion. Recently, they also organised the ‘Ekamra Road (Cycling) Race’ – a first of its kind event in the city.
Speaking on this occasion, Ajay Nanda of 22 Bikes shared, “Every year we try to do something different on our anniversary. This year, it was the Ekamra Road Race, in addition to our regular activities.
22Bikes is a hub for bicycle enthusiasts in the twin city of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. It has been conceptualising cycling as a mode of alternative and eco-friendly transport.
