Athamalik: Four bike-borne robbers took away over Rs 12lakh from a hardware store owner at the local market in Angul district Thursday morning.
The victim Mahesh Agrawal registered a complaint with the police. The police launched a massive manhunt to nab the men.
Mahesh opened his shop in the morning and was counting the previous day’s collections to be deposited in the bank. A gang of four reached his shop. In a swift strike, the robbers tied his limbs and took away more than Rs 12lakh at gunpoint, as per the complaint.
