Pictures the wedding of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ are out now. The couple had both Christian and Hindu weddings and the pictures have taken internet by storm.
The couple’s pictures were shared by Hello! magazine. The couple look lost in each other and seems like the wedding was a grand one.
The couple solemnised their relationship with a Western wedding Saturday, followed by a traditional ceremony as per Hindu customs the next day. The star-studded nuptials were attended by the couple’s family members, including Nick’s brothers Kevin, Joe and their respective partners, Danielle and Joe’s fiancee, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
For their Western wedding, the couple opted for designer Ralph Lauren’s exquisite ensembles. While Priyanka stunned in a white gown which featured floral and scroll motifs. Nick looked dapper in a custom suit by the designer.
The duo donned Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s creations for their Hindu wedding. Priyanka made a stunning bride in red hand-embroidered lehenga. Nick wore a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa.
The couple tied the knot in a two-day event at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace December 1-2. After completing the nuptials, the two were spotted at the airport heading for Mumbai.
After their arrival at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the couple had held a Mehendi ceremony, where Priyanka had henna designs applied to her hands. After the Christian marriage service, an elaborate dinner and the after-party was organised that apparently went late into the night. The couple also hosted a dance off with their families at the party.
