New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind has approved the conferment of Correctional Service Medals on three prison officials from Odisha on the occasion of Republic Day 2019.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, district probation officer of Berhampur jail Pradeep Kumar Raj will be conferred with Distinguished Service Award. Prison welfare officer, Special Jail, Bhubaneswar Sunakar Pradhan and assistant jailor, Circle Jail, Berhampur Kamakhi Prasad Pati will be honored with meritorious service award.
Similarly, CBI inspector from Bhubaneswar Sanjay Kumar Samal will be awarded with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
