Paralakhemundi: In an unusual incident, an elderly person reportedly died Sunday while performing yoga asana at a camp organised at Hi-Tech Plaza ground at Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
The camp was being held at the Hi-tech plaza ground in Ramnagar area, where more than 100 people had participated.
According to reports, the man fainted while practising yoga during the camp. Though other participants and organisors immediately shifted him to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), he was declared ‘brought dead’ by the attending doctors.
The exact reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered and the exact cause of his death will be known after the arrival of post-mortem report, police said.
