Bhubaneswar: Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department Bhubaneswar Wednesday issued a thunderstorm and rainfall warning for 10 districts.
People of Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Khordha, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Puri are asked to be alert till 1:30pm.
“Moderate thunderstorm and lightning with light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the districts between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm today,” read the latest IMD bulletin.
People in these districts are advised to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings and other safe locations as a precautionary measure.
