Bhubaneswar: The sesquicentennial celebration of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday has spurred everyone to be part of it. Hindi film phenomena, Salman Khan is no different. The star had a special appeal to his fans on the Gandhi Jayanti — ‘fit India’.
Salman Khan took to Instagram, and wrote: “#GandhiJayanti k is mauke pe, Bhai ne bola aapko message dene ko… aur Chulbul Pandey is ready! #PMOIndia @kiren.rijiju.”
In the video shared, the superstar is heard asking his fans to celebrate the Mahatma’s birth anniversary with fervor and simultaneously asks them to keep India clean and at the same time to be fit. “Swachh Bharat, swachh Bharatiya. Fit India, fit India,” he is heard saying at the end of the video.
However, after Bharat rocked the box office, the Bhaijaan of the Hindi film industry is gearing up for the release of his next project — Dabangg 3 — the third of his franchise Dabangg. He will be again seen as Chulbul Pandey, a fearless officer with a sense of humour, in the film.
Directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 will also have Sonakshi Sinha opposite Salman Khan in the role of Chulbul’s wife Rajjo. Superstar in Kannada films, Sudeep will essay the main antagonist and Pramod Khanna (brother of late Vinod Khanna) will fill in for his deceased brother to play the role of Salman Khan’s father. Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan is producing the movie.
