Berhampur: Berhampur Assembly constituency legislator from BJD Bikram Kumar Panda tested positive for COVID-19 Tuesday.
Panda informed about this through his Twitter account.

“After getting mild symptoms, went for testing and found positive for COVID-19. Those who have come in contact with me recently, please isolate themselves. Let’s defeat the deadly virus, abiding by guidelines and norms issued by the state government,” Panda Tweeted.
Notably, Baramba MLA Debiprasad Mishra, Rural Development, Labour and Employees’ State Insurance Minister Susanta Singh, Bhadrak MP Manjulata Mandal, Bhadrak MLA Sanjib Kumar Mallick, Nilagiri MLA Sukanta Nayak, Salepur MLA Prasant Behera, Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Polsara MLA Srikant Sahu, Remuna MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar Parida and Salepur MLA Prasant Behera had earlier tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
