Defending champions AIIMS, Bhubaneswar (senior) and DAV, Unit-8 (junior) will be looking to retain their titles, while last year’s runners-up — KIIT International School and DAV Kalinga Nagar (junior), and SCBMCH and NIT Rourkela (senior) — are gearing up for a strong comeback.
Adding to the excitement, for the first time ever, four top-tier national institutions — IIM, Calcutta; IIT, Kharagpur; NIT, Raipur and XLRI, Jamshedpur — will be making their debut in the seventh edition, aiming to clinch the title on their very first attempt.
Mettle Meet, an initiative of Odisha’s only homegrown English daily Orissa POST, was launched in 2016 with the vision of reviving and promoting the art of quizzing in the state. Since its launch in 2011, the English daily has carved a niche as a leading source of intelligent and youth-focused content. With its pro-people editorial stance, the publication continues to play a vital role in shaping Odisha’s socio-economic and political discourse.
