Incidents of police beating up common people keep surfacing almost every day, and many videos of such brutality go viral, showing police officers mercilessly assaulting people. One such shocking video has now emerged from Amethi, where a police inspector is seen kicking and abusing three youths riding a bike. This incident reportedly took place in Goriabad, and the inspector involved is identified as Gopal Mani Mishra.
According to reports, he was conducting a checking campaign when he stopped three youths and questioned them. It is alleged that during this interaction, the inspector became enraged and began kicking and beating them.
The video of the incident has been widely shared on social media, with one post coming from the handle @priyarajputlive.

It is being reported that some youths were filming a prank video in the jurisdiction of the Goriabad Police Station, during which they had placed lemons and flowers on the road. When the inspector arrived at the spot and questioned the youths about their actions, he allegedly lost his temper and began assaulting them with kicks. During the beating, one of the youths sat down, apologised repeatedly, and begged the inspector to stop, but the officer’s anger did not cool.
After the video of the assault went viral, senior officials ordered an inquiry into the inspector’s conduct. This is not an isolated case; incidents of police assaulting ordinary citizens have been reported from multiple cities across the country. Now, all eyes are on what action the department will take against this inspector.
