Pallahara: A major explosion occurred at the NTPC power plant in Kaniha, in Anugola’s Pallahara area, Saturday morning. The explosion reportedly took place in Bunker B, leaving five workers seriously injured.
Of the injured workers, three have been shifted to a hospital in Talcher, while two others have been referred to Bhubaneswar for treatment.
The exact cause of the explosion remains unclear. Senior officials have reportedly reached the site and are assessing the situation.
