Rourkela: At least 25 people were injured when a private bus overturned in Odisha’s Sundaragada district, police said.
The incident took place near Madhupur in Gurundia police station area when the bus was on its way to Bonai from Jharsuguda with over 40 passengers, they said.
The injured were taken to Gurundia community health centre, and those in critical condition were shifted to the Rourkela government hospital, an officer said.
Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.
The condition of the injured was stable at present, said Dr Rajanikant Mahananda, superintendent of the health centre.
