Bhubaneswar, Jan 23: Leading cement and ready-mix concrete manufacturer ACC launched its new product ACC F2R Superfast in the state Tuesday. Fifty-kilo bags of the cement are to be available at “billing price of Rs335”.
“ACC F2R Superfast will address the technical needs of the Odisha’s architects, engineers and contractors. It will help us to strengthen our sales volume in the state, a potential market for us, on the back of increasing investment and government policies,” Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director & CEO ACC Ltd, said. He said the company has launched the product first in the state and will be launching it nationally in the near future.
He said the company is enthusiastic about the launch of the new product with the latest innovation that has been developed in response to specific customer needs such as fast setting, superfine quality and early strength that can be used for all concreting needs from foundation to roofing. ACC has three integrated plants and two grinding units that are spread over the eastern zone. In Odisha, the company has one integrated plant in Bargarh and another ready-to-mix plant in Khurdha district on the outskirts of the city. The company also has nine ready-mix concrete plants in the zone. On its distribution network in the state, Neeraj said the company has 600 dealers with 1,200 retailers in the state. “We are not planning for expansion in the state, but plans some new
products,” Neeraj said.
