Bhubaneswar: Social activist late Aditya Dash’s wife Bidyashree Monday lodged an FIR at the Airfield police station alleging character assassination and mental harassment by a person on a social media platform. She also threatened suicide if no action was taken on the matter.
In her complaint she mentioned that a person by the name of Subhasis Sarangi has been publishing various videos on YouTube and Facebook slandering her character and alleging her family’s direct involvement in the Aditya Dash death case.
Bidyashree alleged that the accused Subhasis is releasing such kind of videos to satisfy some personal scores. She also accused Subasish of morphing her pictures to raise questions on her character.
It is worthy to note here that Subhasis has directly held Bidyashree and her family members responsible for Aditya’s death on several social media platforms.
Bidyashree said that the fake videos are taking a toll on her and her family’s mental health and causing great stress and demanded police action against the accused Subasish for circulating such false videos immediately.
“If no action is taken against Subasish then I will commit suicide in future”, she threatened.

It should be stated here that Dash’s mutilated body was found on the railway tracks near Lingaraj Temple Road station in Bhubaneswar, July 7. Prior to the Crime Branch taking over the case, the Bhubaneswar GRP was conducting the investigation in the matter.
The case has been handed over to the Crime Branch which is now in charge of investigating further details in the Aditya Dash death case.
