Put your best foot forward with a pair of nude pumps. For inspiration, look no further than the fabulous footwear of fashionistas
Nude pumps are eternal. Their appeal is timeless and they are a wardrobe staple just like the little black dress (LBD). Nude heels are found in every woman’s closet and whenever you are confused as to which heel to pair with which outfit nude footwear comes to your rescue as they are versatile and elongate your legs.
Want to sport a pair of heels? Be sure the colour gels with your complexion. The most common and preferred are skin-coloured heels that blend with complexion and give the legs a sassy look.
Designer-cum-stylist Pooja Dhanuka Shah says, “Classy nude pumps usually go well with office wear. But you can also put this in another way. Attired in an official shirt or top and skirt, your best bet is a pair of nude pumps. It suits any outfit and adds a wow factor to the overall look.”
Nude pumps come in a range of fancy patterns and designs. They gel with any attire and you don’t need to worry about drawing attention, as the subtle and classy heels make you stand out
When it comes to a new style, the celebs who don it inevitably grab all the attention. “Thanks to our celebrities who give us a variety of options and it is because of them that we get to know in depth about a particular trend. It is the same with nude pumps. These days, nude pumps are getting fancier and come in a range of designs. They gel with any attire and you don’t need to worry about drawing attention, as the subtle and classy heels will make you stand out,” adds Pooja.
Payel Dutta, an HR professional, has two nude heels in her collection – one classic black and another for everyday use that she wears to office.
“I prefer nudes as they are comfortable compared to other heels. Pointed toes are in vogue and they are super glam. There isn’t a woman around who doesn’t love nude heels. They glam up any workaday outfit. The pale peachy beige comes to mind when we hear nude shoes being mentioned. But nowadays, there are a lot many shades to choose from.”
