Mumbai: The host of the ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ show Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ‘love playing KBC at home’. He has also stated that his wife Jaya Bachchan watches KBC regularly despite of her busy schedule. The information was provided by Amitabh Bachchan himself during an interaction with the media.
Amitabh Bachchan stated, “My family loves playing KBC at home – sometimes Shweta (Bachchan Nanda) does, sometimes Aishwarya (Rai Bachchan) does. We sit together and discuss the questions and answers,” said the man who is populary known as ‘Big B’.
Amitabh Bachchan stated that even Aaradhya (Aishwarya’s daughter has started watching the show at times. She asks me questions and also tries to find the answer herself. At times we all sit at home and play KBC together. It is a knowledge-building exercise.”
Amitabh Bachchan also informed that for this edition of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, his family was not in favour of him hosting the programme. However, he went for it because it gives ‘him a different feeling’ altogether, something which he doesn’t get while acting in movies.
It should be stated here that Amitabh Bachchan has hosted the show for close to 19 years.
